Back from CHA

I got home late Thursday evening from CHA... Wow what a fun time I had. I roomed with Amy, Tonya and Sally from the Clear Scraps DT. It was lots of fun working in the Clear Scraps booth at CHA and meeting everyone who loves Clear Scraps products and seeing all the amazing things the dt did on the samples as well as showing off a few things in the booth. The weather was great and I totally miss it already. lol It was amazing meeting all the new people I ran into at CHA and hope to keep in contact with all of you. It was also amazing hanging out with the owners of Clear Scraps. They are 2 amazing woman whom are so down to earth and totally funny. Can't wait for next time. hehe

Yesterday I got some good news.... I submitted to the Serendipity Scrapbooks dt call and got the great news that I made the kit team. I am super excited to be on the team and from a site that is only 30 min from my home. My fab friend Marci gave me a call as I was out and about yesterday when the list went up.. hehe So it was super fun finding out from her that I made the team and she is one of the dt members that are staying on from the last call. Love being on a team with Marci as she is so full of amazing ideas and talent. Hugs girl and congrats to everyone else who made the Serendiptiy Scrapbook teams

CONGRATULATIONS!!!

6 more days...

Only 6 more days and I will be in sunny California at CHA... I am so excited and I can't wait to meet all the gals in the Clear Scraps booth and work with them and showing off all the amazing stuff Clear Scraps has to offer. Speaking of Clear Scraps here is another layout using their mini arrow arrow album.

I actually only used one of the pieces and turned it into a little dog house... A really simple thing to do and it gives your product some dimension. OH and the layout is from the new Ad This Challenge that just went up today. The twist is you have to use a mask or masks. So if you love a good challenge then hop on over to the blog and join in. Here is a photo of the ad... It's totally cool.

Monday Monday....

The new ad is up at AD This... I just love it and the twist is use 5 different embellishments from 5 different company's or digi kits.

Here is my take on the ad. I chose to do a digi layout as I am working on projects for CHA and didn't want to add more to my mess. LOL

Ok so now for the winner of my last post...

Our amazing weather...NOT

We have had rain for several days now and it's so bad that most of the rivers have crested and there are all kinds of flash flood warnings, floods, mudslides and the mountains are having avalanches etc.

So while I was out this afternoon running errands and making a run to the grocery store and the craft store I took my camera along and snapped some photos of the river by our home. You can click on the photos for a bigger size.

This is a photo of the bridge the trains use that is over the river by our house. The bridge is normally at least 20 feet above the river if not higher. As you can see the river is almost touching it.

Here is a photo of the Soccer fields just up the road from the first photo. There was just snow there the other day. LOL

This photo is of the road that is down the road from the first photo as you can see the river cresting and flooding has made it to the roads.

It is still coming down like buckets out side and will continue to rain all of tomorrow as well.

I am already waiting for summer. LOL

Clear Scraps new Goodies...

It's that time again to show off some brand new products from Clear Scraps...

I will post a couple every couple of days so be sure to read all the posts as I will be putting up some Clear Scraps RAK's for you to win.

This first one is the Mini Heart album. It's great for a little mini book for any subject and great to make into key chains etc. With Valentines day just around the corner I decided to go with that theme.

This next one is one of my favorites. I just love Owls and the things you can do with the cover are awesome. The cover has the eyes and belly cut out so you can easily use this as a template if you like or if your like me then you find a way to make it unique. So I decided to stuff the belly ... I just love the way it turned out. I have to get photos of the rest of the album and I need to finish the last 2 pages but I just had to show you this adorable "owl album" that clear scraps is releasing at CHA

Now for the really good stuff

If you like what you see so far please go to

Leave a comment from now until Thursday and one lucky person will receive a RAK from Clear Scraps.

Thanks for looking
I will be posting another RAK on this blog in a couple of days so be sure to keep watching.

Thankor looking

Happy New Year....

Wow I have a lot of catching up to do... With the amazing snow storm we had we are just finally getting our internet back up and the plows came a couple days ago and finally plowed our roads. It has been crazy around here but we are getting around now. LOL Only for the forecast to say more snow tomorrow. LOL Hopefully it won't be a lot.

Well with it being the First. I have an amazing kit to show ya... It's the "Grunge" kit from Dixie Pieces.

Right up my alley and perfect for layout of my daughter and her punk ways. LOL Here are a few layouts of what I have done with the kit.

Well off to catch up on much needed stuff and get more work done. Hugs
