Playing catch up...

Hubby has been working nights the past 2 weeks because they need some night flying hours in... So I have been running the kids here and there and everywhere etc... I have been soooooo wore out and then when things calm down again boom my Lupus decides to act up so I spent most of the weekend in bed or on the couch... Thank goodness my hubby is finally getting it.

Some weekend crafting...

Well I spent the weekend crafting. The house was all sparkly clean so why not. It was suppose to rain all weekend but it ended up to be an amazing weekend. Having the windows cracked with an amazing breeze coming in. The kids out playing getting in their last few hours of play time before school starts on Wednesday... I swear I didn't think I would get through this summer, but alas summer is OVER and school is back in session or at least will be in 2 days. hehe

It's Wednesday...

Today is the day Isaiah comes home... He has been gone for 3 1/2 weeks and I miss him soooooo much. He says he's not ready to come home yet which makes me a little sad, but at the same time I am glad he is having lots of fun with my In Laws down on the ranch. He has been so busy I have only talked to him 3 times since he has been gone.

I have still been busy creating some fun stuff for my Etsy shop... My latest sets include a totally cute Sassy skull with matching buttons etc.
It's always so hard for me to figure out what kind of price to put on stuff I create. There was a lot of time that went in to this set with all the cutting and hand stitching etc. I put a price of $10 for this set with $1.50 shipping. Do you think the price is to high???

All about me book

So have you started one yet??? I have been wanting to do one for over 2 years now and have had my 6x12 Rusty Pickle book sitting on the top shelf just waiting for me to grab it and start scrappin in it. So with the online crop going on at Dixie Pieces this weekend I decided it is time. hehe

Here are my first 8 pages that I got done this weekend.











I still have to alter the cover and well there are lots of pages in this book so it will be an ongoing thing. lol I am just enjoying scraping 6x12. It is a fun size.

Some summer fun projects...

Here are a couple more projects that I have done with the July kit at I am a Scrapaholic. The kit is totally fab and the colors are amazing. I am just having so many ideas swirling around in my head with all the goodies in this kit.

I really can't complain all that much since we haven't had any rain but man is it warm... I love it though. The kids are always out side playing and having a good time with friends etc. So I have had lots of time to scrap... I have been playing with the July kit from I am a scrapaholic... OMG is it ever amazing... The colors and all the embellishments are just to die for. Here are a few layouts I have done so far and I have a few more that will be up in a few days.





The last layout is for a new challenge that I put up at I am a scrapaholic. It's a liquid medium challenge. You have to use 3 different liquid mediums on your layout. Check out the "I challenge You" section of the forum at I am a scrapaholic for more details.
