Updating and Guest Designer info...

Wow it's been a little while since I updated my blog... ugh I am usually so good with making sure I update a couple times a week. I have had this cold that I just can't shake and it knocked me on my butt for a while. Anyway I have got a lot of scrapping done the past 2 weeks or so... Here are some projects that I did with the October I am a Scrapaholic kit.

October Digi Kit...

I am having fun playing with the Octobers "All Hallows Eve" Digi kit over at Dixie Pieces.

I'm not a big digi savy person but these kits make it totally easy for beginners and advanced digi scrappers.

The amazing thing about this kit is all the goodies you get in for $6.99 Plus if your a hybrid scrapper you will love the little elements that Krista designed and put in this kit.



Here are a few things I did with this kit. Plus I did my new banner with this kit.


The last layout I used 3 different Dixie Pieces Digi Kits.

It's not just cutsie stuff anymore... lol

That is what my daughter says anyway. LOL

Here are a few of my new coffee cozy or Coffee cup sleeves. Which ever you call it. They are more my style and reflect me and things I like. My daughter gave me a few pointers as well. lol



I made one of these for my mom about 2 months ago and she gave me the idea to put these up in my Etsy shop. I guess we shall see how they do. You can view more photos of these in my Etsy shop. I would love to know what you think of them.

I have been sewing away the past week or so... Here are a few new things I have added to my Etsy shop.

I so love October... The air is always nice and crisp the leaves are changing and Halloween... I love to decorate my home with all kinds of fall and Halloween decor. The October kit at Dixie Pieces is amazing for those fun Halloween layouts, cards or to alter up some "spooky" decor. Here is what I have done so far with the October Kit.

Scrapping away...

Well I locked myself in my scrap room the past few days. The first 2 days I spent moving things around and cleaning up stuff etc and purging. Man I feel so creative down there now. I will post my scrap room photos in a couple of days. I want to hang a few things on the walls etc. So since my scrap room is all nice and clean I have been down there scrapping away working on projects etc.

I couldn't sleep last night so I worked on a some things for my Etsy shop... I have been wanting to design a few owl embellishments for scrapbooking / card making and came up with these little guys. Let me know what you thing of them.

I got some good news...

I found out last week that I made the DT for Clear Scraps... I am so stinking excited. The team is amazing. I have added all of their blogs on the side bar so make sure you go check them out... I can't wait to get started with all the clear goodies I got to shop for... Be sure to check out there site as the albums are amazing and all the clear images as well are to die for. Plus they do some of their clear albums in chipboard... hehe


Here is a mini album that I did with the September kit at I am a Scrapaholic. Lynn put in this amazing black board mini album that I couldn't wait to play with... Miranda loves the colors black, red and white so I pretty much stuck with those colors for the album... I added a few other colors but not much...

Weekend Projects...

Well I was not as productive as I wanted to be but I did get a few things done.

At I am a Scrapaholic Alicia does up these amazing sketches for the DT to play with etc. Here is her latest card sketch and my take on it.

Playing catch up...

Hubby has been working nights the past 2 weeks because they need some night flying hours in... So I have been running the kids here and there and everywhere etc... I have been soooooo wore out and then when things calm down again boom my Lupus decides to act up so I spent most of the weekend in bed or on the couch... Thank goodness my hubby is finally getting it.
