Here is my take on the sketch.

(Most of the items on this card were made from The little shabby box June Paperie Kit.)

Summertime summertime...

It's finally Summertime Summertime... hehe You know that song "Summertime Summertime" by Nocera??? man it brings back memories plus I'm sure I just showed my age as that song came out in 1986.. I was just a teenager... hehe Anyway I heard that song today on the radio as I sat on the back deck talking to Miranda and her boyfriend. ahhh the memories. lol Ok so enough about that, but I do have to talk about summer a bit more. I simply adore all the colors of summer. Teal, pink, green, orange and so much more... ahhh color is awesome. What is your favorite color combo of summer so far???

I love teal and pink but then again I love Orange and green.. Oh and you can mix in yellow with both of those. lol
The June Paperie kit from The little shabby box is filled with great summer color papers. Here is a card that I created from the kit that shows off some awesome summer combos.

Products used:

A few simple cards

This month I have been playing with the June "Paperie" card kit from The little shabby box. I simply adore all the papers, embellishments and the kraft paper is my favorite. This kit is packed full of great things that any card maker will use.

Here are a few of my cards. Aren't the colors great? I simply love teal and pink together. hehe

Thinking of you card I added some gems that I had laying on my desk. It's simple but I love how the kraft paper makes the teal and pink pop.

Thinking of you card I added a few Kaiser crafts pearls to the center of the butterfly and a couple gems..

Thanks card I wrapped the rose stem around a pencil to spiral it as I didn't like it just straight.

To get your hands on this kit jump on over to The little shabby box. Check out the blog to see more cards from the fabulous design team.

I hope you have a great weekend.

Cards, Kit and more...

Wow I can't believe today is Friday. The week just zipped on by. Earlier this week I was looking for something in my scraproom and couldn't find it so I of course tore it apart and well it looked like a bomb went off. So after taking a look around at my mess I decided to arrange it since we moved the boys room up stairs the entire req room is now mine once again, but we want a little part to store some items so I moved the 1/2 wall back about 4 feet and WOW is my scrap room so much bigger and I just love it. I am not entirely done putting everything back in it's place as I have been so busy this week but it's coming along nicely. Anyway tonight I took a few minutes to get creative and made a couple cards.

Up first is a card I made using the amazing March card kit from "The little shabby box" I just adore Prima and this kit is full of it.

Simple Holiday Cards

Here are some simple Holiday Cards that I made using the "Mini Holiday" Kit from The little shabby box.

This kit has 12 different 4x4 sheets of papers with some great embellishments that work amazing for cards. The Holiday Mini kit retails for only $6.00 what a great price... The Be Merry kit is their main kit and it's to die for. I will be posting some cards made with that kit later this week.

Be sure to check out the Card Contest at The little shabby box.

There's a new Kit on the block...

Be sure to check out "The little shabby box" It's a new kit club but not just any kit club it's a CARD kit club. Yup that's right. I have been doing a lot of card classes lately and a lot of my friends that aren't local to me have e-mailed me for directions and supply lists for my classes so with a lot of push and begging from yall I took the leap and started "The little shabby box" I was just gonna keep it as an Etsy shop but decided if I'm gonna leap then leap good so I started it's own site and blog. The Kits will go up on the 15th of each month. The Fall kit is already up. I will be posting some sample cards made with the kit this weekend. So be sure to check out the The little shabby box blog. Be sure to read the first blog post as there is a DT call and I know some of your are amazing card designers. I am only looking for a couple card designers and already have a lot of submissions but I didn't want any of you to miss out on the call. Hugs and thanks for the gentle nudge.
Here are a few photos of the kit.
Thanks again to all of you who pushed and nudged.. hehe Love ya lots
Elisa
