Cards, Kit and more...

Wow I can't believe today is Friday. The week just zipped on by. Earlier this week I was looking for something in my scraproom and couldn't find it so I of course tore it apart and well it looked like a bomb went off. So after taking a look around at my mess I decided to arrange it since we moved the boys room up stairs the entire req room is now mine once again, but we want a little part to store some items so I moved the 1/2 wall back about 4 feet and WOW is my scrap room so much bigger and I just love it. I am not entirely done putting everything back in it's place as I have been so busy this week but it's coming along nicely. Anyway tonight I took a few minutes to get creative and made a couple cards.

Up first is a card I made using the amazing March card kit from "The little shabby box" I just adore Prima and this kit is full of it.

Up next is a card I made using this weeks card sketch from 2 sketches 4 you. I just adore there sketches and I'm so glad that I got a chance to play this week.

Purple Cows St. Patty's Blog Hop...

Today is the day for the Purple Cows St. Patty's celebration blog hop... Are you looking for some fun, easy and creative ideas to add some more green to your St. Patty's day fun??? Then join in on the fun and hop along... If you are following along the Purple Cows blog hop, you were just at the amazing and talented Jing-Jing's Blog.

If you would like to start at the beginning of the hop, you can click HERE.

Today I am showing off my simple but cute little coaster set that I made to go along with my coffee cozy.

Simple steps...

Cut chipboard to 3x3 and pattern paper to 3.5x3.5 using the amazing Purple Cows Freestyle Trimmer with wavy click blade. Glue chipboard to pattern paper. Slip inside a Purple Cows lamination sheet and laminate in the NEW Hot/Cold Laminator (found in your local Jo Anns, Hobby Lobby). Trim and laminate again to seal up the cut edges once again...

Be sure to leave a comment on my blog for a chance to win a special green RAK... hehe

Now hop on over to Samantha's blog...

Thanks for looking and enjoy the hop...

For step by step direction on how to make my Coffee Cozy please view my previous post HERE.

P.S. Sorry for being 45 min late. I have a little one home sick today and wrote down the wrong start time. So if you were here earlier and left me a msg on my post for yesterday I will put your name in the drawing for my RAK...

Coffee Cozie...

Wow I can't believe it has been since the middle of Feb since I last posted. I have been super busy with kids, schools, hubby and being sick... I'm finally getting caught up with things and am back to my regular scheduled program so to speak. lol

Here is a simple but fun project I recently made and you can find the step by step instructions etc on the Clear Scraps Blog...

I love making coffee cozies out of any materials like fabric, felt chipboard etc. This week I made one using Clear Scraps 12x12 acrylic sheets. What an easy project this was and it would be great for any kind of gift... I used my Purple Cows Freestyle Mouse with a #2803 designer click blade to cut the acrylic with a scalloped effect.

I ran this through my Big Shot with a Sizzix embossing folder that had flowers all over it. I just love it.

I used the rose stem stamp from Inkadinkado and stamped the image with black staz-on and used water color pencils to get my desired colors and effects that I wanted.

Since this is a gift I decided to take my left over acrylic and make a simple card to go with it.

The thinking of you is on front of the acrylic and the rose stem is done the same way as the one on the coffee cozie but it is placed on the inside of the card.

Thanks for looking and I will be back soon.. I promise.. hehe
