A Happy Birthday Card and still unpacking my craft room...

So I spent 12 hours in my craft room yesterday.  Looking at what I did in those 12 hours I'm not sure if I was that productive.  I would of been better if I could make up my mind where I wanted things.  Things started in one place then moved to a different place and ended up in another place.  I think that deciding where things go is what takes up so much time.  In the middle of it all I ended up twisting or pulling something in my back after moving some boxes around.  So I have been really slow moving like turtle slow. lol  So naturally I decided to sit down to rest my back and get in some creative time.  Here is a card that I created...  I really love the colors.

a nerdy owl canvas...

Today I would like to share with you a little canvas I created.  I love to paint and mix colors and do what makes me happy.  So as I sat in my crafty room looking around at boxes etc naturally I grabbed my paint, a stencil and a some things that were left over on my scrap table and got busy listening to some 80's jams...

Crafting from scraps and leftovers!!!

Hello again...  As promised I am back with another card I created...  A little later then I planned but things around here have been crazy with kids, doctors and so much more...  Hopefully now things are moving in the right direction. With that said I have promised myself to post at least 3 times a week on my blog and to spend at least 30 min a day in my craft room... I have this nice craft room and haven't spent that much time in it at all so that needs to change and well it started with today as I spent 30 min. in there today playing with some leftovers left on my table from the last time I was in there and created this little work of art!!!

I'm back with A Tag and A Sketch...

So as I said in my last post that I would start posting on my blog again mid April.. This entire year so far has zoomed right on by... It's been crazy with working, buying a new home, moving and then having health issues...  We are still unpacking a few boxes every weekend but for the most part the house is unpacked and everything is in it's place except for my scraproom.. I still have a sea of boxes on the garage but it's coming together nicely... This past weekend I had a friend over and we did a little scrapping... It felt good inking and gluing again..  With that said here is a little something that I created with some new supplies and my go to stamps from KinderStampO.

This was my first time ever using Lindy's Stamp Gang Mists and I have to say I really loved this Moon Shadow Mist.  It is a Light Brown undertone with a brilliant Blue shimmer its totally awesome stuff...  I will be checking out more of the Moon Shadow Mists for sure...

Feliz Navidad Tag...

So with it being December and still in the high 70's here in Texas. I thought it was the perfect time to get into the Christmas Spirit and start creating some Christmas Gift Tags...  Most of my stuff is still out in the garage awaiting us finding a house to buy so I am limited to what I managed to pick up a few Christmas/snowy things but when creating I would really love to have a lot more options, but I am making the best of what I have with a Hobby Lobby/Michaels trip planned for today... hehe

Here is my first Christmas tag of the year...  Using my Ipad to take my photos and edit them as I got a new computer and can't seem to find my photo shop cd yet. I'm sure it's in the garage packed with all my amazing Christmas embellishments...

Enjoy Your Day...

Wow the weekend just flew by.  Here in Washington we are still pretty cool for this time of the year.  While others are having heat waves our temps are still in the 60's and low 60's at that.  I think later this week we will hit 72degrees.  The kids are waiting for summer to start.  No swimming or water fun till it's a bit warmer.  I'm sure this time next year they will be wishing for this weather as we will be in our new home in Texas where I'm sure it will be HOT...

With that said I am up on the Purple Cows blog today with this "enjoy your day" card I created with the Purple Cows CraftGeek Punch It winter punch and the CraftGeek Wind It tool and wire.  Plus some of my own vintage finds and left overs...

A Happy Hello...

Totally cute plus I had just received my order of Pro Markers and had to put them to the test... can I just say I simply love them...  They blend so nice and effortlessly... It's been a crazy couple of weeks...

Wow the time sure does fly by...  I have had a couple crazy weeks with being sick, water damage in which making me pack up my scrap room.  Bringing in a industrial fan to dry the carpet and padding for a week.  Finally it was dry and put back in it's place after being treated and then having the guy shampoo it to again having to wait for it to dry. LOL  What a process and I have to say I feel for anyone that has ever dealt with or will deal with a water issue.  It has been no fun, but I am thankful that it was found fast and dealt with right away and only costing me $300 in the end...  The rest of the week will be spent unpacking my scraproom and moving the furniture back in the req room...  It's kind of nice getting a fresh start.  Looking forward to purging every box we go through..  With that said I would like to share with you a little card I created before all this got crazy...

Purple Cows and Momenta Exchange...

Today I would like to share with you a couple cards I created for the Purple Cows & Momenta designer exchange.  I will say that I haven't used any Momenta products before until I received my fun package. I received the Kaleidoscope 12x12 Pyramid Paper Pad and let me just tell you that it has 7 different sized papers all in one package.  Genius I say...  My projects came together so easily and I have a lot more paper and goodies to make a ton of cards...   Along with using Momenta products I grabbed my Purple Cows CraftGeek Punch It and Pin it with some fun pin shapes. Here's a tip... I didn't have the color pins I wanted so I painted them with white paint and dipped them in UTEE and heated it up with my heat gun.  This will give you the look of an old porcelain sign.
