Passport to Adventure...

is an amazing new stamp set from My Stamp Box. I created a fast, fun and easy tag mini album using a bunch of different color Glimmer mist sprays and a few of my favorite inks. Happy Halloween...

Today is my favorite holiday. I love the kids all dressed up in costumes ranging from princesses, bumblebees, ladybugs, ghosts, mummy's, vampires, skeletons and the list goes on. They all have smile's on there faces and love checking out the treats that enter there sacks from one house to the next. I know my kids went out with pillowcases in hopes that they will fill them up. LOL I let them know that the dentist was giving out $2.00 per lb of candy as well as sending $2.00 per lb to the boys and girls club they gave me a look like I was insane. I will keep my fingers crossed that they do not fill up those pillowcases and I can't wait till they return home to hear all the stories about this house and that house and whom had a haunted garage etc. LOL

I leave you with a few Projects... First up are a few cards I made with some Imaginisce "Spooky Town" goodies I received in one of my DT boxes from Purple Cows. You can also see the step by step instructions to make these cards on the Purple Cows site.

It's my favorite holiday. I just love decorating our house with spooky handmade items and making mini albums of the kids dressed up etc.

There's a new Kit on the block...

Be sure to check out "The little shabby box" It's a new kit club but not just any kit club it's a CARD kit club. Yup that's right. I have been doing a lot of card classes lately and a lot of my friends that aren't local to me have e-mailed me for directions and supply lists for my classes so with a lot of push and begging from yall I took the leap and started "The little shabby box" I was just gonna keep it as an Etsy shop but decided if I'm gonna leap then leap good so I started it's own site and blog. The Kits will go up on the 15th of each month. The Fall kit is already up. I will be posting some sample cards made with the kit this weekend. So be sure to check out the The little shabby box blog. Be sure to read the first blog post as there is a DT call and I know some of your are amazing card designers. I am only looking for a couple card designers and already have a lot of submissions but I didn't want any of you to miss out on the call. Hugs and thanks for the gentle nudge.

Woot Woot...

I can finally shout it out loud for all of my scrappy friends and family... I am now a designer for My stamp box... I fell in love with there stamps when I received a couple sets in my DT box from Clear Scraps and when I heard they were having a DT call I just had to send in some of my work in hopes that they would love my work and I would be lucky enough to be asked to be on their DT... When I got the e-mail from them I was so excited and stunned at the same time... I got my first DT box last week and have been busy creating some projects. Halloween Cupcake Creepers...

I have been making lots of great crafts and embellishments for my Etsy shop and these cute little chipboard Halloween Cupcake Creepers are now in my shop... I love the crackle effects on them.

busy busy busy...

I have been so busy this past week cutting and prepping for my card class at Lila's Scrapbooking and more. There are 18 people signed up already and only 2 spots left. So if you want to get started on your Christmas Cards early this year then hurry and sign up. It's my first Christmas card class of the year. My classes for September will be a Halloween card class and another Christmas card class. Samples are already up in the store. I will take some photos of my class on Monday as well as all the new samples for the next 2 classes and post here on Tuesday.

I just love the sketch over at 2 sketches 4 you this week... Laura did an amazing job with the sketch.

I loved it so much I did 2 cards using the sketch. I also dug into my scrap stash for these cards. Gotta love using up some odds and ends you have laying around. hehe


Here are 2 other cards that I did using up some scraps and left over embellishments and a couple of my Cuttlebug folders.

Clear Scraps Stockings and give away

One of my CHA projects or should I say 5.lol The stockings aren't new but all the Holiday mini shapes are all new from Clear Scraps. I used the stocking album for these and there are little clear boxes attached to the backs of each of these so little goodies and or a small gift can be put in them. You can click each photo to make them bigger if you like.

The new ad is up over at the Ad This blog... I am so excited that my little challenge blog has been going strong for a year now and this month it has been featured in Scrap Street magazine.
